91自拍 University offers an opportunity for prospective students and their families to come immerse themselves in campus life and learn about our academic offerings during the Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 19. 

Prospective students and their families visited our campus residence halls, athletic facilities and laboratory and classroom spaces to learn about our innovative academic program offerings. Faculty and staff were also available to answer any questions.  

New this year, 91自拍 offered academic experiences tailored to the prospective students’ interests, including some of the following experiences. 

Academic Programs: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering 
Explore the security of passwords and the fun of computing through hands-on activity, student internship experience sharing and interact with our faculty experts in discovering our MakerSpace with 10 dedicated areas for advanced manufacturing techniques and production.

Academic Programs: Biomedical Engineering, Cyber Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial and Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

A guided tour of the MakerSpace in the IHACK, showcasing cutting-edge technology and designated stations with 3D-printed items tailored to each major, providing students with unique, field-specific keepsake.

Academic Programs: Accounting, Aviation and Business Management, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Sport Business

Step into a challenge that will push your ability to lead, innovate, and think on your feet. With limited time, resources and some ambiguous context, you and your team will need to harness creativity, strategy and collaboration to reach new heights. You will also need to deliver a compelling elevator pitch to convince us your team has met the challenge successfully. In this fast-paced scenario, success hinges on not just what you build, but how well you can sell your vision. Prepare to test your communication, problem-solving and leadership skills in one dynamic experience!

Join Academic and Career Development Advisors on a journey to discover your strengths, potential major/career paths and how they align with one another. Students will be able to uncover themes that have been present throughout their lives, revealing their natural strengths and mindsets as they prepare to enter college.

Sciences – Zurn Science Center – Room 101

Discover how our STEM programs lead to incredible career possibilities while enjoying a sweet science treat. Our interactive lab tours will allow you to explore microscopes, anatomical models and much more.

Social Sciences: Participate in a live demonstration of cutting-edge physiological equipment, providing hands-on insight into how technologies such as iWorx are used to visualize changes in the human body. Faculty and current students will be on-site to explain the practical applications of these tools in the fields of criminal justice, psychology, counseling and social work.

Communication and the Arts: Visit WERG, 91自拍’s award-winning radio station, where you will record liners in the production booth. Learn from faculty and staff while you visualize what it’s like to be on-air, on-screen or behind the scenes while touring our 4K television studio and production suites where you can see yourself in front of the green screen.

School of Education: Design your own virtual classroom (or courtroom) while exploring the key elements of curriculum, design and management. This hands-on experience explores careers beyond teaching, highlighting the diverse paths available to education majors and minors. Engage with both faculty and current students to get a glimpse into what it means to shape future learners and create an inspiring learning environment.
